Our Impact Driver also has an automatic LED light, and is perfect for driving nuts and bolts into a variety of surfaces. Plus, its reverse mode also means you're able to remove nuts and bolts, too.

Cordless Drills and Drivers FAQs

A combi drill is versatile for drilling, hammer drilling, and precision screwdriving with 21 torque settings. An impact driver delivers higher torque (120Nm) for large screws and dense materials using rotational hammering action up to 3,000 RPM.
It depends on your projects. Many DIYers find both tools complement each other well - the Gtech Combi Drill is ideal for precision work, small-medium screws, and drilling holes, while the Impact Driver excels with large screws, dense materials, and stuck fasteners that might challenge a regular drill.
The Gtech Combi Drill can drill up to 30mm in wood, 10mm in steel, and handles masonry with hammer mode at 24,000 RPM. It works on wood, plastic, metal, and masonry with 2-13mm keyless chuck capacity.
For most DIY tasks, 100-150Nm is sufficient. The Gtech Impact Driver delivers 120Nm of torque, perfect for deck screws, lag bolts, and dense materials. Higher torque means easier driving of large fasteners.
Impact drivers use 1/4" hex bits only. The Gtech Impact Driver includes a 12-piece bit set with popular profiles (Torx, Phillips, Pozidriv, Slotted, Hex). For round drill bits, use the Combi Drill with its keyless chuck.
For most home DIY projects, 20V cordless drills like Gtech's offer the best balance of power and versatility. While 12V tools are compact but underpowered for demanding tasks, and 18V is adequate for general use, our 20V platform delivers superior performance for drilling through wood, metal, and masonry. The extra voltage means more torque for tough materials and longer runtime under load, making 20V the ideal choice for serious DIY enthusiasts.
